Question is how much oil should be added when oil level on dipstick is at the L (low) mark to get it to the F (full) mark. Only found on one thread that was near an answer but everyone seemed to be guessing. Is there a factory spec on this?

If it were my vehicle, I would add a half-quart - then check the dipstick oil level movement. You should be able to gauge whether to add another half-quart or only eight ounces. Add slowly as the oil level reaches near the full-mark. Always do this on level ground.

FWIW... My 2019 2.4 engine holds 5.1 quarts of oil.

My 2014 EX Optima is a quart from the low line to full line. My car started burning a lot after 130k, so I have to add a quart every 500 miles. It takes me from low to full. Hope this helps
