Very common, mine happened in the exact same area. There is a TSB for this specific issue (BOD 143 is the reference number), but it does specifically mention condensation. But that doesn't mean water isn't the culprit. I'd have Kia check it out, they might be surprised if you walk in and tell them about the TSB. It's probably $250-$300 for that side alone, so fight them with the TSB. Worst-case scenario, spray water into the housing yourself LOL!!
