I just bought a 2013 kia optima sxl, I was washing the engine today,and poured water on it, now code P1326 came up,I know that water got in the knock sensor, but I'm just wondering, what's the best thing to do, I don't have any warranty with the dealer, because it's a rebuilt title, thank you all....

I learned along time ago, Never wash an engine with Just Water, Never.

Ok now that we're past that, So does it run OK?

If so, then sounds like you only have 1 option, unless you or someone else can think of others. Reset the code, drive and see what happens.

I love SXLs, mine still hits 17.3 boost yet I try not to push it too hard cuz its at 210,300 miles, no oil usage, Yet.

Actually, I won't do it again, learned from my mistake, well the code is there permanent, but I rode the car and it rides good, because yesterday I went for a ride and the car was going on limp mode,now it didn't do it, so let's see what happens..

I have washed mine with a water hose for 10 years no issues yet.
