I recently decided to build up on my 2012 K5. I just bought a carbon fiber one, which why I want to remove. Anyone know the best way to ?

If I remembered correctly there are 3 long bolts underneath that holds the spoiler in place, once you remove the 3 bolts you must heat up and slowly pry the spoiler away from the 3M tape. Once the spoiler have been remove, just use alcohol to clean the leftover areas and you should be good to go to install your new spoiler.

Welcome to the Optima Forums.

Congrats on getting your 2012 K5 & wanting to build it up a bit.

I am pretty sure DINO2K is correct, that the spoiler is bolted in place from underneath.
