I have a 2011 Optima and the fog lights aren't working. However, if I move the control stick forward about a 1/4" and then down about an 1/8" of an inch the lights will come on but the stick has to be held there to keep the lights on. Not exactly ideal for driving down the road since if it's moved too far forward my high beams come on. I'm assuming it's in the control stick, what are your thoughts and has anyone ever had this issue?

Thank you in advance for your comments

Yup, replace the multi-function switch. Had same problem, picked up OEM unit $70, and had it installed when getting new tires $90 to install the stalk.

Thank You Turbonut! How tough is it to change it yourself? It appears to be a plug in with the exception of the mounting screws and the trim at the column. Did you have them to it out of convenience or is there more to it than that?

Yes, convenience, getting lazy in my old age.
Disconnect negative battery
Remove steering wheel
Remove steering column upper and lower shrouds
Disconnect the lighting switch connector and wiper & washer switch connector
Remove the steering wheel
Remove the clock spring/air bag module
Remove the multifunction switch
