Some aluminum foot pedals are a must! The dead pedal is a simple screw in type going right into the plastic flooring, while you have to wrestle with the brake pedal to remove the old and put new in its place. The gas pedal just slides down over the top of stock and its an easy fit. I love how these feel and look, HUGE interior improvement. eBay again: At Fuel Brake Foot Rest Footrest Pedals Fit for Kia K5 | eBay

Next step was badges of course. I decided to do some 3D K Badging of the hood, trunk and steering wheel. Made sure I got some authentic badges due to all the controversy on the forums. Recommend K5OS:K5 Optima Store - Kia 3.0 K Logo Emblems I decided on a black emblem on the front and a red one on the rear and boy does it look sharp! What do you folks think?

I also removed the Optima letters on the trunk as well as the model, replacing the Optima with K5 of course!!! And leaving the T-GDI emblem. Looks clean.

Oh look what arrived!!! Some new headlamps from over seas. Check out the pictures of my new LED headlamps with angel eyes. I've not seen anyone on the forums nor on the road have what I have now. I can hook up the angel eyes and the LED strips as DRL too. I bet that looks great! No more dreaded inner corner light either. These are clean. check out the pics and let me know what you think. They took forever to get here but I'm pretty excited!

Ok so I finally installed my new headlights and let me say OMG, these are friggin awesome! I love these things. First off the angel lights (CFL's) around the projector lamps are bright and amazing. Inbetween there are two led strips and add great accent to the entire headlamp. Take a look! And lastly, the blinker has been pushed to the outer corner of the lamps, which is the ideal position. The lamp arent cheap but they are an amazing upgrade! Enjoy the pictures!

Ok guys the plastidip is off. (thanks god!) It was put on for effect to see if I would like the black panels, and I very much did, all the way down through the rocker panels. Well I had always planned to wrap in vinyl so now with the help of my buddy Brad over at b-wrapped.com I have vinyl replacing the plastidip. Not only it is gloss now, but it looks oh so good! See for yourself! This is some premium 2mm gloss black vinyl and I am very happy!

Alright. for my next mod I decided the Door Reflector LED mod is a must. My gf's suv has lit reflectors and its very nice. Don't know why they didn't just include it in the optimas. $15 oversight in my opinion. So using the info here on the forums http://www.optimaforums.com/forum/64-diy-appearance-body-modifications/19226-door-reflector-led-mod-let-there-light.html I did the same stuff. Took me a while as I fed my wire I ran to the door switch through the door jam properly and safely. Boy was that time consuming and tough. Probably an hour for that door alone! Here are the pics, I think the link explains all the rest of the details. Small cost, med time, high payoff!

Here are a couple more pictures of my new gas cap. a couple people messaged me so here are the pictures. The gas cap is made of a tough gloss black plastic. The middle circle is a chrome plastic insert that is secured by 3m tape. Also in my package was a gloss black plastic insert in case I didn't care for the chrome. Love it thought. These kits are available from a variety of vendors and even on eBay. Simply two bolts to remove the OEM and replace with the new. That's its, easy 5 minutes.
