DRL Manual Switch Installed

It's installed and working! But I had to go with plan B.

Plan A was to take a second panel, remove the esc button from it, solder the button and led onto the other circuit board, and have two OEM like buttons. But the curvature of the switch panel makes all the buttons different sizes, so it didn't work. it would have needed a lot more fabrication, and I would have probably needed a third panel in case I screwed up with the two.

So here's plan B!

You have to drill a hole and feed them out the bottom to make room for the circuit board on the back.

Convenient ground location to illuminate the switch

Do the LED's fade in and out like the regular bulbs?

Nice setup!

Can't wait to see what else you got in mind!

They do fade, but not as long as the filament bulbs do. It's kind of hard to explain.

I can get a video, though.

That's a Dashhawk. It provides real-time readings for pretty much anything in your car with a sensor. Boost, A/F ratio, O2 sensor readings, voltage, air measurements, etc. So basically, it works as multiple gauges without having to run tubing or wiring. It plugs into your OBD-II port and off you go.

It can also record 0-60 times and 1/8, 1/4, and 1,2 mile times.

You can have as few as 2 readings, and as many as 7 at once. There's also at least 10-11 customize-able screens, so you can change around what you want it to show on a whim.

I took a quick video of the Dashhawk in action, for those of you interested. I took it out on I-69 (For the 70MPH speed limit ) and held my phone next to it..so sorry for the shakiness.

Nice dude, Id love to figure out an OEM like location for that and get a nice clean custom install. Its definitely something that is creeping onto my mod list. Can you get oil temp from it?
I can take a quick vid today showing each menu and choice when programming the screens. There's quite a lot.

This is the best color in my opinion. Had they still offered it for 2012 it would have been my first pick. Lookin good my man
