Just got these a couple days back: Toyo Celsius tires are designed for regions like New England, and I've had a very positive experience so far. The have three main features I like: 1. Asymmetrical Tread - They wont get stuck in snow as easily 2. Varying Sipe Density - There are more sipes...

Hello - Looking for opinions......I purchased this car new and it always warmed up quick. Last winter that changed and it now will not reach full operating temp when driving and when it idles to operating temp I can control the engine temp gauge (dummy) by turning the climate control up. This...

I just bought a second set of wheels and had some Michelin xIce 3's installed on them. I did not spend too much time thinking about the TPMS. I have naively assumed, the car would simply ignore the lack of sensors or there would be a way to turn the system off. To my horror, there seems to be no...

So I have been throwing the around of buying some winter tires for the upcoming winter in Minnesnowta. The stock tires are less than acceptable in my book, so I'm either going to buy a new, useful set of all seasons, or a set of winter and then new in the summer. I was sliding around today and...

Hi guys! I'm getting really close to buying my first Optima (shooting for a 2014 SX) and was wondering how was the winter driving? Especially with the more powerful turbo, is it a handicap in slippery conditions? I'm no newbie to winter driving (20+ years of driving experience in Québec) but...

Wondering if anyone in the snow belt has run the OEM chrome wheels all winter, and how the finish held up to the road salt? Would love to hear of anyone that has done this, and if they did anything special to protect them. Appreciate any feedback!

2012 SX Turbo - Debate on downsizing Winter Tires -1" to 17" Rims - Rotor Concerns?? Hey folks, After last All Season Continental PureContacts getting 20K miles for a 60K mile tire, I've had enough of going all season... only had 2 receipts for tire rotations during that 20K period so no luck...

Just installed wheels with winter tires for the first time and wondering if the noise they make is normal. They are used, but low miles. Drove them over 60mph and they don't vibrate or pull the car. Also, the rear are 5 mm larger if that makes any difference. I have similar noise towards the end...

The recommended tire size for my KOH is 205-65-16 for winter tires. Will be bad if I put 205-60-16?

Decided to have a little fun with my winter wheels. The wheels are from my old '09 Mazda 6 but I dressed them up with anthracite gray metallic Plastidip and a couple light coats of glossifier. The tires are Bridgestone Blizzak WS-80s. Nothing special; just happy with how she looks for winter.

Is there a brand of coils out there that are really good for winter? I live in Canada. I was thinking of Eibach's or D2 springs recently to answer the winter aspect of the low life. As I've read up reviews, springs tend to bottom out. I have kinetics exhaust. That just hangs a little less...

With winter coming around soon, I dont want to be using the stock 18" rims on my SX. I want to get a cheap set of rims/winter tires for my car. My question is, I know the SX-T have bigger brakes than the other models, will stock wheels from the other models fit? Will the stock EX/LX rims fit...

Hello all, I am on the verge of purchasing an Oil Catch Can for my Optima turbo, one can or two. No tune yet. I live in Canada. My concern is during the winter months, will I have to drain my Catch Can more often during the winter months because the oil residue might freeze(I don't know the...
