  2. New Member Introductions
Had the car for a year, been like this since we got it. Basically they all do different things. For example, volume down turns on Bluetooth voice control, track skip up is volume down, volume up is mute, etc. Done a little bit of searching and sounds like its just wiring issue. I've seen little...

Hey guys. I recently got into a 2019 Sportage EX from a Charger R/T, and needless to say, I am missing a little get up and go in the new ride. Not looking to really tune the Sportage out, I am just looking for a little more pickup for stepping out on the freeway or turning onto a busy road...
  4. Engine and Technical Discussion
I made a post as you know, trading in my 2011 kia optima with 101k miles on it but a replaced engine for this 2017 kia sportage with the 2.4 theta ii. I originally understood that after mid 2015, these motors had a “refresh” preventing them from having rod bearing issues like my 2011 did. Well...
  5. Engine and Technical Discussion
Having since traded my optima I had an extra aem intake laying around and decided to try it out to see if it did in fact fit. Well, it did. The pcv hose is short, but I made it work.

Hey guys, I know I probably could go to the sportage forum or kia forum to post this there, but I trust the people here in regards to good advice and proper wiring. On my sportage i dont have fog lights at all, however, ebay sells a set for 148 and they are made for the lx ex non fog light...

The previous owner decided to paint them black and did a horrible job. So i had no choice than to use paint stripper but it damaged the powder coat. So the question is, should I leave them without the black powder coat and do clear coat or should i powder coat them again to have the Factory look?
  13. 3rd Generation Optima (2011 - 2015)
I received a call from the dealer about my lease being up. I told him my 3year lease goes until 10/2015. He said they are letting people out of their leases up to 12 months early. I have 31,000 problem free miles on my optima. I was planning on buying the car as my mileage is going to be way...

Well, I am finally getting around to posting the pics a couple weeks later. Overall I am very happy, but as my prior posts may have mentioned, I'm not totally sold on whether the Michelin Primacy MXM4's are as terrific as Tirerack says (they say #1). But I digress... Here are the pics!
