Hi, I'm Khani and I drive a 2014 Kia Optima Hybrid EX. I have been a member for almost a year, however, this is my first time posting. To be honest, I'm not entirely sure how to use this site, but I ended up browsing on here because my vehicle is currently in the body shop for repairs and I miss...
Over the past few years, I've asked many questions about different kinds of spoilers on this forum, and now I'm looking to change from my current setup.
Obviously performance isn't a concern, so it all comes down to appearance.
So, Lip, Ducktail, or Lifted, which spoiler has the best...
So I own a 2013 optima sx and my spoiler is sun damaged and I’m looking to replace it. There’s already holes drilled in my trunk from the factory lip spoiler it came with. Any suggestions on a new spoiler I can get for my car?
I started getting this (see below) in the last week or so. Not sure how this is happening. I don't recall anything like bird droppings on something landing on that spot. As I got this pre-owned, and I have Carmax's extended warranty, it *might* be covered (checking with them later this week to...
I want to install a rear spoiler on my 2015. I see that I can get one off Amazon for around $150 painted and ready to double sided tape it on!
Is there a significant difference in this than the OEM? If so, what is the difference and which do you prefer?
I have a question. I own a 2013 kia optima metal bronze and thinking about putting spoiler on and wondering anyone else's opinion on color. I'm leaning more towards black or should I go with factory color?
Reason asking because I plan on getting VMR V710 Gun metal or matte black rims and was...
Went thru K5 Store. Thanks David.
The pictures on the Kinetic web site are different than what I received. Still like the spoiler. It does cover the six 1in X 1in square holes in the trunk from the factory spoiler.
I use two of the holes with fender washers to screw into the spoiler. Also added...
Nice day today. Decided to swap out the spoiler. The original spoiler was held in with six long bolts. Not to bad to remove. But did run into an issue with the new spoiler. I had to move it back more than I would have like. I needed to cover up the large square holes.
So I attempted to remove my rear spoiler since it got sun damage.
Wanting to carbonfiber wrap my spoiler but having trouble removing it....
I unbolted all the nuts and the thing won't budge.
Im I doing something wrong here?
Is the spoiler also Factory glued to the trunk as well????

What is your Optima's Show/Go Ratio?
The purpose of this question is to determine which direction do most people on this site go when deciding to mod their Optimas...
Is it more towards appearance? Or performance?
A "Show" Mod is as follows: A Modification to enhance or alter your Optima's...
So I've be debating on putting a slightly more aggressive style spoiler on my 16' SX. Right now I have the super thin style stick on spoiler. I had found some other spoilers on eBay that I liked but the pictures aren't great? Any have any good pictures of the OEM or aftermarket spoiler their...
Hi guys, I have a roof spoiler from k5 store and for the second time it's coming loose in the corners and I'm afraid it can come loose all the way and damage the car or any car behind us and was wondering if someone has had the same thing happened?
Fwiw I cleaned the glass real good with...
