Has anyone successfully installed factory LED tail lights on their non-LED equipped 2016/17/18 Optima yet?

I was just wondering if anybody knew of any difference between the 2016 and the 2017 Optimas. I can't really tell if there is a huge difference, if there is one at all. Just curious :)
