    I have a 2011 Optima with 99,000 miles. I have not had any engine knock. I was wondering if this update would be any benefit to me. I would think by now if I had a faultu engine it would have showed up. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

    Today I got an warranty letter that address a bad coupling in the MDPS for all 2011-2013 Optimas and some 2014 models. The letter states that the coupling fails and make noises when turning the steering wheel left or right especially when stopped. KIA will automatically replace the MDPS...
