https://imgur.com/a/MjmRDJM Here is a screen shot of the oem parts of an Optima front bumper. Items #9-12 deal with the air ducts, my question is can I get away with only buying #11 and keep the remaining structure of the current setup, or would I need to buy all 4 parts? Any help would be...

Hey Everyone, My name is Jessica and I currently live in Fresno, California. I am currently at the love yet hate my 2013 Kia Optima Ex stage with my car. There are many things I love about my car but some serious randomness I am ready to beat it over. Example: I literally closed my driver...

So, I was inside the store for all of 20 minutes and I come outside to this I'm guessing a shopping cart. I thought I had parked far enough out, but I guess not. Anyone know whether this can be fixed without replacing the whole bumper? Since it's not metal, I wasn't sure.

Today while I was leaving my local GameStop I noticed a couple of guys around my age (21) walking towards my car. Before I was able to get into the car one of them yelled out "Nice car!". So I naturally answered "thanks" and he then mentions that he owns a 2015 SX Turbo which was parked not too...

I'm enjoying a new vehicle I purchased a few months ago, a 2nd vehicle to accompany the Optima in my garage. A 2015 Ford Explorer Sport. I gotta tell everyone something, this Explorer kicks the snot out of my Optima. Don't get me wrong, I still love the Kia. But holy cow...really? My Optima...

Have about 4,000 miles on my 2014 SX-T, and I normally drive it very conservatively, but when I do ocassionally floor it from a dead stop or while moving I get a funny burnt hair smell in tha cabin with no smoke. Under normal driving conditions there is not a problem.

I bought my 2013 Optima used, and it had the hood deflector already installed. I thought it looked okay when I bought it, but wonder what other Optima owners think of it. I have thought about taking it off, but wonder if it roughed up the hood any from rubbing.

Hello all, as the title states I am a Sonata owner! I have been creeping the forums since I joined over on the Sonata YF Turbo forums. Anyway, lots of good info here that I think would be great to share between. Most interestingly, I have been following the notorious wastegate rattle forum...

Was fun when our Optima was the only one around. Now the cutting edge Optima is catching on.
  12. 3rd Generation Optima (2011 - 2015)
I was browsing youtube, looking at new Optimas. If you read comments you would be suprised how many people post trash. They say: "It is still KIA, not depandabale car, Optima owners spend a lot of time at dealer shops fixing it!" and other bullshit. I reply to those comments: " If you never...

Hello everyone. I love my 2007 Optima automatic with 4 cyl, has 148,000 miles, driven 100 miles a day, but issues like broken sunvisors that cost $200/each, broken passenger sensor for ABS and Cam Sensor replaced but still throws the light. I really wanted to make my next purchase a Kia, but I...

I have had this car for only a few days and already I don't like the key hole on the drivers door handle. I understand why it is there but I think it would look better if it was hidden. Anyone think it is possible to buy the small cover from the rear door and some how get it to cover the key...

So what does everyone think of the Tiger Nose grill of the 2011? It is more distinct than last year as the outside of the chrome surround actually dips in rather than just the inside. I personally love it and it makes the brand immediately identifiable, I spot a recent model car of similar...
