Every couple of engine starts "Battery Discharge" message displays, what is this? Every so often when I start the car I see that message flash with some other text (can't make the rest out), is this normal?

This is the second time Ive heard this from an old time mechanic. Add 1Qt of trans fluid to every 7th tank of gas. This is supposed to clean youre injectors and any carbon gunked up? Anybody else hear of this???
