  1. 3rd Generation Optima (2011 - 2015)
I'm a musician and do a lot of gigs all over Georgia. I'm starting to get quite a few dings on the front end and cant really afford a touch up and clear bra at the moment but I was wondering if getting a full vinyl bra would be my best option for now? I assume they are easy to take on and off...
  2. 3rd Generation Optima (2011 - 2015)
I'm planning on doing it myself to save a bunch of money in my car insurance by switching to GEICO, I have done it to my son's racing bmx bike and our mountain bikes with great results (they have some angles) but I'm debating between Xpel and 3M scotchgard and was wondering if anybody here has...

Cruising down the highway or off-roading is always fun for the driver. But your 4-wheel friend pays ultimate price for this. Paint on your mirrors can be easily damaged from nicks, chips, and dings. Colgan has been the first, who created mirror bras designed to protect your side-view mirrors...

I have a new 2015 EX and I am thinking about having the 3M Clear Bra applied by a local certified 3M installer. He quoted me a price of $599 which includes covering the entire front bumper, headlights, hood (roughly 1/3 of it), mirrors and door handle cups. I have read many forum posts but most...

Hey everyone, This is my Optima, have had it for 3 weeks now. I've never had window tinting done before, but plan to have this car done this week. The front windows will be 50% by law. What do you guys recommend for the back? Is 5% too dark...can you still see out fairly well? Would...

3M painter's tape, that is. Driving up north to Ontario cottage country tomorrow, and wanted some protection.

Here's a question I hope someone has done or has an answer to. So my 12 SX is starting to get rock chips on the hood and i'm regretting not getting it 3M'ed when I got the car, that said I think I want the clear bra now before it gets worse the question is do I touch up the spots myself before...
  8. 3rd Generation Optima (2011 - 2015)
7 months ago, I had the Xpel Ultimate clear bra installed on my car. In the process of removing and reinstalling my rear bumper, they damaged the inside tabs/prongs/whatever so that it doesn't sit flush with the body. When I point this out, they agreed to "fix" it. Not sure what they did, but...

My '13 optima has now about 5500 miles on it. I am in the Air Force reserves and drive twice a month back and forth on the Turnpike and daily on Roosevelt Blvd. I have noticed a few small scratches that look like windburn for lack of better description on the hood. I want to get a clear bra put...

Not sure if this has been posted i did a quick search but the spray on type didn't pop up... 3M Paint Defender Spray Film with synthetic wax - Sprayable Paint Protection Film, 90000 - 3M Auto Last for 1 year... • Why do I need to protect the paint on my vehicle? Protecting the vulnerable...

So this past weekend I did an invisible bra on the front end of my SXL using PlastiDip's Glossifier. The only difference to the naked eye is that there is less of a sheen and shine look than the factory clear coat, but it doesn't look to have altered the color. I have about 3 coats on.

So I got bored at work and decided to see what it would look like if I put a bra (cover) over the front bumper. As you know I dipped a 20" FX35 rims a few months black and got pretty positive feedback. (I like it so much I'm going to do the whole car) So lets get to the pics: :thumbsup...

hey guys so i found a really cheap precut "clear bra" for less than $70 shipped. i'm guessing it's not clear bra, but at least it's pre-cut and should get the job done for most of scratches... i'm thinking of buying it but trying to see if anyone else bought it?

My installer said it would go away after a few washes. It's been a few weeks now and still this line is visible. How do I get rid of this thing?
  17. Interior and Exterior Modifications
I've had my clear bra on my Optima for a month now and certain areas have bubbles in it. Is this normal? Is there anything that I can do? My installer says it takes 4-6 weeks to cure, but I am getting impatient. Thanks.

So a buddy of mine has a sign business and has 3M clear bra material. He offered to make it and put it on free. Well I have to pay for materials which is a small amount. Only problem is he needs the design outline so that his printer can cut the outline. Does anybody know where I can find...
