First time Kia owner looking for tires

Hi guys I’m looking to get rims and tires for my car and there’s just so many options that I get lost. My car currently is stock with 205/65/16 and I want to get a better looking rim and quality tires at a budget. I went to tire rack and it shows that I can go up to 20s but I don’t want that. I’m looking for a nice clean look but not too big. Max I would go is 18s. My issue is that I want to still have a nice comfortable ride. I don’t want to sacrifice that. Any suggestions would be great.

How’s the feel of the ride? Is it smoother then the stocks? Geez that’s quite expensive or maybe I’m not used to paying that much since my last car was a 2012 focus.

When you decide on diameter, then take a look at the offset and width, then look at the tire size, a good example is the above stock size 235/45-18.
Having said that, the construction of the tire will have an affect on the ride, e.g. speed rating, load range, so pick wisely.
    TireRack $105-$357
    Tire-Easy $72-4256
    Discount Tire $71-$260

The ride comfort is great. Not noisy and are excellent in the rain.

I think you are on the right direction. I have the original 215/55/17 tires. I should say they are comfortable and having somewhat good looks. But, they are not good at cornering. The 18 inch rims are better.

I think I might stick to 18s. I’ll use the same specs as the sx Optima specs and go from there.
