Its hard to say without knowing the specifics of the opposing bulb. Our stage 2 reverse lights have 4 1.5 watt LEDs making a total of 6 watts. On my car my tail lights are tinted and I can still see behind me just fine using these bulbs.

    Thanks Garrick for the information.

I definitely have to do something about my current setup for I find it challenging to see well at night when reversing. Do you guys offer group buys like some other vendor to the forum?

Hi Garrick, I'm planning to get the stage 2 LED reverse light for my Optima but I would also like a set for my brother Lexus IS250 2009, I think each set cost 60 bucks each right and if so do we save on the shipping to Canada if its ship to the same address?

I'm not sure about our competitors products however I will say that I have the stage 2 back up lights in my car and my tail lights are tinted and I still have no issue seeing behind me and backing up. Definitely a worth while product in my opinion!

Phoenixpaddler I think the issue with the Canadian Optima is that the backup lens is so tiny compared to the US ones. Mine is a small lens about 2.5 inches wide and .5 inches high. If you look at the US ones they get a nice big white lens. I guess Kia thinks we don't reverse much.

The 2013 Optima have the tiny reverse light lenses. I don't think it's just a Canada thing. Forgive me if I'm wrong somehow.

I am kind of confused with what your saying "These LED bulbs are made just for us by a company that has been in business since 1992, and every bulb carries with it a one-year full warranty." and then you mention that "The bulbs use an exact terminal and will fit as a replacement for stock incandescent All bulbs use less power and heat than the stock bulbs, and will last longer than your vehicle." So if I am correct they will last longer than my vehicle but you only warranty them for one year. Hope my KIA lasts longer than a year...

We are in the process of updating all of our forum threads (127 forums, hundreds of threads to update)

We design all of our bulbs and they come with a 3-year warranty.

If you would like to see a comparison of our LEDs with another vendor's, please watch this video:

I just purchased your “Tail to Turn” modules for my 2018 Optima S. Great product and works perfectly. Can you give me a link for the best reverse lights you have for my model? I’m sure they come in pairs as I will be buying two pairs as I plan on getting rid of the amber into reverse lights when I wire it up.

    Thanks!

Thanks for your support! We're glad you're enjoying it. We'd recommend our 410-lumen XP50 LED Bulbs for your Optima. Here is the link: Diode Dynamics Backup LEDs for 2003-2018 Kia Optima
