    Morimoto XB35 HID installation location

    Hello I recently purchased

    Morimoto XB35 HID Conversion Kit.

I was wondering where would be the good place to mount the kit.

Do you guys have any suggestions or mounting location pictures?

The ballast on the passenger side can go under the coolant tank on the flat surface down there. I mounted the driver's side ballast on the driver's side headlights. For the HD relay and the extra slack in the wires, I bundled it all together and zip-tied it to some plastic trim close to the hood latch.

Make sure the relays are mounted vertically and not horizontal. Ballast can be mounted anywhere, I used 3M tape to mount mine and they have been there for 3 years

thank you very much for the information. Where did you mount the somewhat bulky relays?

I would recommend following the extremely detailed installation PDF provided right on the manufacturer's website.

This way the installation info on the kit you purchased will match identically to the parts you bought.
