    Remove chrome check-mark fog-light trim on the SXL models

    2014 Black KIA Optima SXL loaded w/

    AEM dry performance drop-in air filter w/radiator cowl panel removed
    Hella yellow HID look H7 high beam light bulbs
    Running only Shell V-power 93 octane gas
    5w-40 Total Quartz 9000 Energy synthetic oil
    NGK ILKR8E6 spark plugs(1422)
    Bosch Icon wiper blades- 24A, 18A
    Black check-mark fog light trim
    Michelin Primacy MXM4 225/45-18 tires
    Hawk HPS 5.0 Front brake pads HB661B.667
    Centric Posi Quiet Ceramic Rear brake pads 105.15440
    UR strut tower bar

    Awesome work carguy75! I have been considering doing the same for my car and now that it seems pretty easy, I may as well get it done. I have a 2014 SXL in Titanium

    Not bad. Very useful for our 2014/2015 model year owners.

    Might I suggest a couple of these pictures use some circles or arrows directing people to the correct part they are attempting to reach.

    Anyone know the part number for the replacement non chrome part?

    OEM Left Trim is 865632T500

    OEM Right Trim is 865644C500


    I just ordered some OEM Korean black trim from Ebay when I swapped out my chrome trim.

    FYI, the trim only comes in two finishes-gloss black(SX models) and chrome(SXL models) so will have to paint over the trim to color match any other car color besides black.
