Opa-locka. FL. boy now on the west coast of the state. Own a Pearl White 2017 Optima FE w/ only 22K miles on it since I bought it new. Avg 29-35 MPG when not gunning it & up to 45 MPG @ 70 MPH when not gunning it (figured somebody here would want to know the MPG). Will end up getting visual upgrades eventually, especially those LED side fender vents (Put those back on the market!). That's all for now, back to lurking.

    Welcome to the Optima Forums.

Congrats on getting your 2017 Optima.

I wish, that product was discontinued over 6 months ago.

Hopefully in the future someone redesigns them again.

Let me know if there is anything else we can help you find.

    -David

Welcome! And Congrats. Those side LED vents had several manufacturing defects that many owners had to address themselves. Sorry, plenty of other mods available on the market tho!

Appreciate the feedback fellas. There's a few other AM products I got my eye on. Eventually I'll end up swapping the engine & converting it to AWD with a new tranny, but neither will be easy.

Oh wow, that sounds like quite the project! Keep us posted on your progress if you end up doing the swap!
