    2018 plug-in hybrid Transmission question

Now that it’s very cold outside at times it was -20 Celsius The car transmission will jump like a bad gear on a manual car rev hi and then go into gear only when it’s extremely cold and once at the engine warms up it’s back to being very Normal and smoot Has anyone else experienced this problem.

Wow, I had this issue on my 2011 Hybrid, part of the reason I got rid of it. I can't believe they have not fixed this issue in 8 years!

I've never experienced this degree of the issue, but I do notice, during colder mornings, when i don't allow for much warm-up time, the transmission will lag slightly when I first begin to drive, but usually only during the initial acceleration period from the driveway.

Now that it’s getting hotter it’s ok
But when it’s cold out about -6 or so
If the car is using gas it’s very very rough tell it gets hot I did a test with no fans on it will run on ev only then it’s not as bad but it will do a funny sound going from 4th to 5th gear
