What is it with all the Sonatas???I had a full day of driving around today; Church, brunch, dinner with the brother-in-law. I cannot even begin to tell you how many Hyundai Sonatas I saw. There were no less than 20. And if I were a betting man (which I am not). I would take the over on that. I grew up in a Porsche family. Well before my parents split and had to be practical with their money. But before then both my brother and I were brought home in a 1969 Porsche 912 Targa (which we are trying to track down). One of the things that I remember about driving around in the 912 or 911 that my dad had was how all Porsche Drivers acknowleged each other; some waved, some honked. I made the mistake of going to the "what did you pay for your Optima" thread today. Bad idea. I didn't think I got that bad of a deal. It wasn't a steal, nor was it a rip off. I paid 22,000 for a CPO EX with Premium. A few extras as well such as upgraded tires, all weather and carpeted floor mats, rear bumper applique, and trunk mat.

I used 1/4" wire loom, electrical tape and zip ties throughout. Right now they come on when the car is on because I ran out of time this weekend, but in the next few days I plan to go back under the hood and add the following:
- molex connectors so the bumper can be removed in the future
- a relay that turns off the DRL's when the fogs are on
