Anyone have a photo of the P7 AS tires on stock rims? I'm thinking about buying them to replace my OEM tires, but I don't want the car to look like a monster truck. LOL! I actually like the OEM sidewall "lip" and after looking at a few aftermarket tire photos, it appears many of them do not have something similar.

I'm also considering the Michelin MXM4. If anyone has a photo of what that tire looks like mounted on stock rims, I would appreciate it.

Now why do you think the car will look that way? Are you planning on using a different size than stock? If not, it will look quite similar to what you have now, just with a different thread pattern and sidewall lettering.

I just want to see them. Same size as stock tire, but every tire has a different look. Just wondering if one of my OptimaForum buddies has a quick photo they can post so I can see... Thats all.

I just bought a set of these tires to replace the Optimo OEMs on my 2012 SX. Got 53,000 out of the OEMs before I blew a tire in a ridiculous pothole. Only driven about 150 miles on the P7s so far, but I'm really liking them - noticeable improvements in sound and handling. Based on the reviews of these tires, I'm expecting some great improvement in bad weather driving too.

I'll post a pic or two of the tires on the stock rims when my car's actually clean again.

Here are a few shots of my 235/45/R18 Pirelli P7's. It's been raining here, so they aren't the cleanest, and these were from my iPhone. I had the Hankook's (225/45) prior to this, and got over 61k miles out of them. These have only been on for about 3 months, (approx 6k miles). They are a good amount quieter, but the grip difference, snow/wet/dry, is night and day compared to the Hankooks.

From what I recall, the lip right at the rim may not be as pronounced as the Hankook's, but going to the 235/45 size, looks like it will provide a decent amount of extra protection from curbs.

My choice for new tires was between these P7's and Michelin Primacy's. Both had great reviews, so it came down to price, and the Pirelli's were $30 less per tire at Discount Tire.

Thanks for posting these. I actually moved forward with the P7's a couple months ago. Fantastic decision. They're awesome in the snow.

Just got the Pirelli P7 AS+ in 235/45/18 for my SX. This is a great tire for this car.
