Anyone thought about or actually gone ahead and replaced their steering wheel with an aftermarket one? Just cruising around looking at the ones on CARiD and it looks interesting. I have no real complaints with mine now but I can already feel where I hold the steering wheel 90% of the time is already feeling a little rougher than the rest of the wheel. I would like to see what the one for the Optima looks like since their examples are all different cars
I still remember when I bought the car no less than three different KIA reps/salesman/finance guys told me the same thing: Make sure you always drive with your hands on the wheel at the 10 and 2 positions. It just struck me weird. Of course, I have never driven that way and don't plan on changing now But it made me wonder about the all the left pull/ steering issues people are reporting - just a coincidence I guess. All I know is that if I move the wheel a millimeter left or right (that's how small a movement it feels anyway) the car tracks that way immediately. When I go in for the 3000K oil change I am going to see if they will test for the alignment/balance if I bring the issue up.
