This is a question for any 2012 Optima owners with the sunroof option. I thought a saw an Optima in my neighborhood the other day with the sunroof open, but in a different way. My 2011 SX sunroof rolls back, with a little cloth wind-guard (not sure on proper naming) that pops up at the front of the sunroof to dampen the wind noise and shift the air away from the inside of the sunroof glass. However, this car looked like the front portion of the sunroof that sits right above the front windshield actually tilted up and aided in diverting the wind sheer away from the sunroof. It actually looked pretty cool.
The portion of the sunroof I'm referring to is indicated in red in the picture below:
Pretty much, I'm asking one of 3 questions:
1. Does this portion of the sunroof actually tilts/move on the 2012 models and not on the 2011s?
2. Is it supposed to tilt/move on the 2011 model and mine isn't working?
3. OR, was I just seeing things?
Would be great if someone could post an external picture of their 2012 optima with the sunroof open all the way. It would put my mind at ease.
