    LED DRL's Installed. PICS.

I got around to installing my LED DRL's and new fog light bulbs today.

I ordered the DRL's from ebay. They were 233.99 with free shipping. It took exactly 8 days for me to receive them from Korea. Shipping was pretty fast. Ordered it from here. http://www.ebay.com/itm/LED-DRL-Daytime-Running-Positioning-Fog-Light-Lamp-Cover-Set-11-Optima-K5-/360404086055?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories &fits=Make%3AKia|Model%3AOptima&vxp=mtr&hash=item5 3e9c1ed27

Then ordered some 5000k 35W H8 HID bulbs from ebay as well. they were 8 dollars with free shipping.

Here are some pics and a bit of inf on how to install.

Here is a picture with the DRL's intalled

This is what i used to cut it. It took about 1 minute to cut each side.

Then sprayed both sides with black paint on the edges to make it look clean

Cut the wires from the harness that came with the DRL's and then extended both wires to the driver side DRL

Routed the wiring on the bumper and zip tied it up to stay in place

Take the black wire from the passenger side DRL and wire it to the Black wire of the Driver side DRL. Then add another wire to go to a ground on the car. I used butt connectors and then put heat shrink over them.

After heat shrinking i put all the wiring into a wire loom going to the car.

And here is the finished product. The fogs match the headlights a lot better.

Took about 1.5-2 hours. Very easy and straight forward.

    Thanks man

Ran the wire into the cabin and used a fuse tap on the 12v power outlet fuse. Also ran a switch so I can turn the lights off if I need to.
