Here are the Connectors and pins. The connectors are less than $1 each. I used 3 position Molex MX150 connectors. All you need to purchase are the connectors (male and female) and the pins (male and female), as the seals are integrated into the connectors.

Sealed Connector: Molex MX150 - Waytek, Inc.

Here is the 3M friction tape. I almost used 3 rolls (60 ft.) of this stuff!!

^ Sorry for the hijack!! I should have made a new thread, but it seemed as if "how to wire" was a hot topic in this one and I was excited that I finally found my wiring pictures that I took last June when I installed fogs and pre-wired for DRLs.

Rob, do you need the crimping tool for the pins or can you crimp with pliers, and did you put the blank plugs in the open connection?

The connectors I linked to before have integrated seals, and they pretty much seal on themselves if there is no wire present. It's literally about the size of a pinhole, so if you wanted to, you could place a dab of silicone on the end of the unused cavity.

You can also find the 2 position version of this connector:

    Female:

    Male:

Here is a good place to get everything you need in one package for weatherproof GM/Delphi connectors. Takes the guesswork out of it as it includes housings, pins, seals, tpa for both the female and male connections. They even include an extra pin for each set.

I've seen people try to crimp with normal hand tools, but using a crimp tool is the only way IMO. I use one just like this:

that is similar to mine. on mine I have the wire stripper holes for different gauge wires. cheap tool and use it a ton.

Yeah, thanks for the info! Question on the polarity - is this marked on the connectors or does that matter, as lone as you have + & - matching on male & female side?

It does not matter on the connectors as long as you keep the male and female connectors wired consistently. As a personal rule of thumb, I always make "Pin 1" my power. Most connectors are keyed or marked to make it easier to keep wiring consistent.

Always, always, always double check your circuit consistency between the male and female housings before you connect them. Don't ask me why i stress this. It was not a fun day.
