Has anyone tried these yet? Autolumination 80W Switchback

I ordered thse bulbs lastnight and was just wondering if anyone here tried these bulbs yet?
    Tail Lights LED Flashing
I ordered "80watt" in type 2 (AO for their site) 1157 from them and should be gettin sometime next week.
Now I know those bulbs are not using anywhere near 80watt... or even 30watt but should be interesting.

    :EDIT: September 13th, 2013
I can no long say I'm happy with these bulbs. I've been using them for about a week and half both of bulbs are acting weird. On day 2 I noticed that one of the bulb would occasionaly get stuck in white mode and will not blink in amber. Just lastnight the other started flicker/strobe in white mode while amber mode worked fine. I'll be returning these and order v-leds 42 led switchback to see if they have good usable amber for daytime use.

I actually tried this exact bulb about 3 weeks ago.. Like you said it is nowhere even close to 80 watts.. It is not as bright as the current 27 PC 1157 switchback that many members here are running on their cars but they do work though..

The other thing from what I could tell is that they DO NOT USE A CREE chip as they advertise on the site. At least not the ones I received that appear to be the exact same product!
Which LED switchbacks are you currently running in your Optima now?

Right now I'm using your switchbacks. I love them and they looks awesome but right now I'm just experiementing with different bulbs looking for brighter amber for better daytime use. You said you used these bulbs... so those load resistors that I got from you will work ok with these "80watt" bulbs?

Load resistors should work with any LED bulb... now wiring size handling 80 watt? LOL, now like you said I don't think these are anywhere near 80 watt, I'm just saying.

Got it, yeah you won't be too happy with these compared to the current ones I sell that you have. I really have been trying so many different LED's in a search to find a better brighter product. After about 5-6 different types I gave up and am now working with a new supplier to actually manufacture the same LED's I had, but brighter and better quality. The amber on these ones are a little brighter, but the white is not as bright which to me is more important as that one stays on all the time when the parking lights are on. Yes the load resistors will work without an issue!

Yep exactly! True 80 watts would probably require heavier gauge wiring. With these you'll be fine.

So I finally received my bulbs from autolumination and installed them with pretty low expectations. But to my surprise they were pretty good. Here's what I saw...

In all comparison pictures... ijdmtoy switchback are on driver side (right) and Autolumination switch backs are on passanger side (Left)

In "amber mode" they looks very similar when you're standing right in front of the car.

When you start walking away from the car, autolumination bulbs starts to get brighter probably b/c its focusing better with our reflectors. To my eyes, the new bulbs looked about 20% brighter.

In "white mode" they again look pretty similar when standing up close. But the new bulbs were more whiter and at certain angles had slight purple sparks b/c of it's projector design.

But when you start walking away is when you see a big difference b/c of it's projector design. b/c the new bulb was focused using projector lens... they looked 2 times brighter.

I like em... thanks for posting. Hmmm... link to these bulbs? The brighter amber is pretty important to me. Might have to give these a shot.

    Edit: NM... I'm slow tonight.

Edit x2: Expensive little buggers huh? Might see if I can find an equivalent bulb for less.

These are brighter in amber mode but I dont know it's worth spending $80+ to upgrade from ijdmtoys. If white mode brightness is important to you, then yeah it's worth it

Wow these are definitely brighter than the ones I got claiming to have the same specs. I'll have to look into these and see about better pricing for you guys.

Be careful, I think that's exactly what happened to me. I got some for cheaper that looked the same but must have used different chips inside.
