Question I added chrome swag to my trunk. Keep it or get rid of it?

I noticed that the back of my '16 Optima looks very similar to many other cars so I got a wild hair and decided to try to accessorize. The triple plated chrome pieces I purchased were not very expensive at all.

So, in your honest opinion...do you like my added fixtures, or would you get rid of them? Believe me, no hard feelings. I'm mixed on if I like the trunk more with or without? Just looking for opinions. Thanks!

I would get rid of it just doesn't fit the look of the car, but it's your car, do what ever floats your boat.

^^ This, doesn't look too bad imho and different is good BUT I wouldn't put it on if it was my car though.

Those seem like they would imitate something functional, like a vent. But, there is no reason to put a vent on that part of the trunk, so they seem out of place. Maybe they'd look better located where you'd expect a real vent to serve some purpose, but I'm not sure where that might be because our cars already have the imitation vents on the sides.

    Yank them!

Next time you're going shopping pull next to a BMW and stick one on each side of the fenders to make them look like side vents. Drive off into a parking space and wait for the Owner to come back to their car. Be ready to take a video of them going from side to side looking like - WTF! Make sure you have some real sticky double sided foam on them because they'll probably want to try and take them off which should be good for some extra laughs too. Then post it on YT with the title 'Just another BMW A-hole'.

I would remove them for the trunk because they would look better on the front fenders in my opinion as side vents. However, you could try finding some chrome taillight trim rings that would give the rear end some tasteful looking bling and stand-out more.
