ya i noticed it was a little bit higher then what i remember..... shitty part is my brother was given like 200 rounds or so and clips for a mini ranch clips wont fit and my range wont let you shoot FMJ on rifles so the rounds are useless to me ;[ guess my dad will use them when he comes out to hunt lol.

I would recommend magpul flip up iron sights with a reflex laser dot. Always need iron sights for backup, and the laser dot (from 30 to 1500 bucks) helps for quick and accurate target acquisition.

I say look online or wait for a gun show in your area. My friends bought a front and rear magpul flip up set for $40 even at a gun show because it had a small unnoticeable nic on one side. They were going to paint to match the gun anyway (white camo theme).

Nice!! Looks really good. Can't go wrong with an M&P. I agree with the other peeps...get some battle sights and an EOTech scope. I think a rail system would also set that AR off as well.

I've got my eye on these pop up sights:

Combo Sight Set / Troy Front Tritium and plain Rear, BLACK | LaRue Tactical

Hey I saw in your avatar pic you have the black lone star plates. I got some for my son's Optima and I looked all over the place for a black frame that would cover the white border and nothing looked right. I ended up painting the border of the plate black and it looked so much more better. Now I want to paint the ones I have on my MKS. Might do mine this weekend.
