Hi everyone from accross the ocean!
I am a newbee here and need your help. I have purchased my 2016 JF Optima 5 month ago and really happy with it. But I have a problem
Please see this YouTube video: watch?v=-b4zR1PdjRk
LOTS of Russian Optimas with both atmospheric and turbo engines have this "pouring rice" sound at 4000 RPM and higher.
It turned out that the problem is in 2 pipes of the cooling system (please see the pic attached) which are curved and one of them have a firmly-glued plastic ring inside that may cause this "rice" sound.
So, my questions are as follows:
1) Does anyone of you have this problem in your Optima?
2) If yes, what has your dealer done with it? Russian dealers are very reluctant to solving this issue, unfortunately.
Thanks to all of you in advance.
All the Best,
Roman
