Smile Luxury Generation Badges Came Today

I just received a friendly knock on the door from our lovely USPS person and my small box from Korea is finally here. They were ordered on 8/30 so about a 2 1/2 week turnaround. I must say they look VERY nice and far better than I anticipated. Debating whether to clearcoat as I am not sure, based on their manufacturing, if they truly need it. I'll take a few pics and post shortly.

    I ordered them last week

So now the question is, . . . how to pull the old badges off? Heat them with a hair dryer to loosen the glue????

if you search the forums there's several videos. Best way is with fishing line or floss (Stuff you should be using on teeth). Get it under the emblem and bam, pops right off. No heat gun required.

I started with floss, but quickly switched to prying them up with an old credit card. I probably would have saved some elbow grease removing the old adhesive if I'd started with by heating the badge/adhesive with a blow dryer.

The steering wheel emblem is not held on with adhesive - just metal tabs in slots. It requires a very small screwdriver (and remarkably high effort) to get it started, but then it popped off easily.

There is actually no reason to remove the emblem from the steering wheel. The badge is designed to go over top of it and not replace it and is shaped as such.
