My 2014 Nappa seats are indeed covered by a protector which is vinyl most likely. Leather only conditioners do not work on my seats at all, but vinyl protectors like Armor All works to keep my seat from drying out and remain new looking even after three years. So my advice would be to use any vinyl conditioner on the seats to keep the vinyl coverings from drying out.

I have never used 303 so I do not know if it works or not.

I know that parts of the seats in are not leather (at least in the EX) but can they cover leather with vinyl? I didn't even know they could do that.

I read that Nappa get a protective covering on automotive seats usually vinyl-like. I do not know the details of how the process work in manufacturing, but it is akin to Scotch Guarding the seats. Actually only suppose to wipe the seats with water to clean them since the covering blocks stains in theory.

I'd only use leather conditioning. Almost all leather has a protective coating, especially for automotive applications. The only exception is natural leather, and I sald 'almost all leather' because I know at least one vehicle (some King Ranch F150s, surprisingly) had it. And the way you can tell it's natural is any moisture immediately makes the leather darker. Feels great, but it's absolute crap for any application IMO. It stains badly, and requires a special conditioner. Had my home furniture like that (also very expensive), and had to give it away after a few years. Anyway, leather conditioners are specially designed to penetrate those coatings, so only use those for leather. Plus they're also good for vinyl, but not the other way around, so it's okay to use your leather conditioner on the entire seat surface. I also have the ivory Nappa leather, and it's all leather on the surfaces facing the occupant. On most other cars without a special leather package, leather is only on the inner part (that's why they call it 'seating surfaces').

After doing some digging, our Nappa seats(2014 anyway, not sure about 2016 ) have a polyurethane coating not vinyl. There are other coating like nitro cellulose that is use to coat Nappa seats well. I think the cheaper method is the poly, while cellulose is more a natural feel. BMW use cellulose on their seat from what I read.

My 2014 seat seem to be coated in poly hence why a vinyl/plastic protector like Armor All works on my seats. The 2016 models may have a different coating like cellulose that may accept a leather protector to maintain the dye color.

I've used this with good results in my 'SX (black leather seats). My understanding is that most all automotive "leather" seats are leather BUT with a vinyl outer skin for wear/stain protection.
