I just leased a 2012 KIA Optima Hybrid with premium package (SWP in color). With all the bells and whistles this car has, I feel like I have upgraded, lol! I came from a 2009 Acura TL (owned for only 6-7 months) so the gas mileage that my hybrid gets is very good compared to my last gas-guzzler of a car. There are several reasons I leased but one of them is because I feel like KIA (and Hyundai) are starting to produce very good cars and maybe in 3 years the hybrids will get even better MPG's than they do now. Of course I have the option to keep the car if I chose to. Leases aren't for everyone but for a consumer like myself, it's perfect!
I actually bought a 2012 Hyundai Sonata hybrid (with premium package as well) about one year ago but decided to give it up for a # of reasons. Not going to bore you guys with my life story.
Nonetheless, Im lovin this new Optima hybrid and the looks of this car is absolutely gorgeous! Being that the car is a 2012, I feel like I got a slammin deal. I don't think I would have received such a massive discount when the 2013/2014 with the slightly modified hybrid drivetrain arrive at dealerships......Didnt want to take that risk!
