    Houston DRL LED

Gonna be honest, I'd rather do this myself for simple pleasure, but I wouldn't even know where to begin. So what would work for you guys?

Apain did you get your stuff in yet?

When it comes to certain stuff I just don't even attempt. I've read multiple post staying how easy of a mod this is but I know I wouldn't feel great about doing it on my own. That's why I suggested doing it together. It would make me feel better knowing I have 2 other people for assistance. I'm more than willing to pay a shop to do it but that creates another problem...which one to take it to, are they gonna do a good job...so on and so on. I did get a response from Dp24 and he said that he took his to 2 different places. Demontrond Collision to get the cut done and a shop to do the actual installed but he didn't provide the name of that one. Said it cost him $150

No its currently sitting in customs in Chicago...they've released it but it hasn't shipped from there yet.

I haven't ordered yet. I'll probably look in to it tonight or thiw weekend.... I feel very confident with the install except for the wiring. I feel moderately confident about that.... Depending how old the little ones are, they could always come play with mine (3yr and 5yr old girls).

You have to be kidding me Mike, both girls? lol just like me. I have a 7 and 6 year old.

You also mentioned opening your headlights? I wanna do that so bad, just to remove the orange reflectors. I hate how they look.

Probably ordering my stuff in the middle of march.

Thats $150 just for installation? I wonder how much they charged him to do the cut at the other shop. And on top of that he probably paid $280 for the parts. So thats already $430+

I think you're looking at 2 weeks minimum shipping so factor that in to the project... Yup, IDMB (I don't make boys)... The opening of the headlights is much more advanced. I would probably send my headlights off to AAC in Louisiana to have that done. They did my 300C and they turned out BAD A$$.

True, but I'm guessing we'd do just 1 car. Cause to do all 3 in one day, we'd be out there from dusk till dawn. Pics of the 300C? Lol Someone once told me real men make girls, but I'm still going to try for a boy a few years down the road.

It honestly hasn't been that bad. I ordered on the 2/15, they shipping on 2/17, made it to Chicago customs on 2/19 (Sunday) Closed Monday for Presidents days. I just checked the site and it states that it's in Houston so the whole process has only taken about a week.

What ever you guys think is best. I guess I will find out if I'm a real man or not cause my girl is 2 months pregnant. We will find out the sex when we go to the next dr. appointment in 4 weeks or so
