Do Not Buy Wheels and Tires from CARiD

Do not use CARiD to order wheels, I did and what a mistake! One of my "new" wheels arrived damaged. There is NO damage to the outside packaging the wheels were shipped in. This clearly tells me the wheel was damaged prior to shipping. CARiD wants to open a damage report with UPS and not step up and take responsibility for their mistake. UPS is going to look at the packaging and laugh. The other option they gave me was a $50.00 credit! Are you kidding me, what and insult! I did not buy used wheels I bought new wheels and that's all I want.

    Wow, that sucks.
I purchased my wheels from them as well and an opposite experience. I double checked the first wheel (it was flawless) and my installer opened and checked the other 3 while I was looking. He said the same thing. Flawless and good packaging. No way that that damage happened during delivery. I'm quite surprised they would not own up to that. Hope you get it resolved.

This is the reason why I have never ordered wheels in the mail.

Too much of a hassle to get a wheel replaced if it was damaged during transit, or wait while the seller and UPS fight among themselves before a real solutions happens.

$50 is a joke, they should just send you a shipping label for the damaged wheel and send you out a new wheel ASAP and fight with UPS on their own time.

I will just buy my wheels from a local tire/wheel store so I can inspect the new wheels before I drive off.
