Just because I felt like it, I Plasti dipped my rims matte black. Nothing too astonishing considering they're only 16 inches but I had nothing to loose but about 20 dollars and 2 hours of my life. Overall Im not entirely disappointed. I like how my calipers look behind them, just need to clean the mub off my tires. Ill probably leave them this way until I decide not to be cheap and buy new rims and tires!
Goodjob on the wheels, the red calipers stand-outs now
i just plasti dipped my rims recently, and thats my 4th set of rims that i painted using plasti dip
Plasti-dipped my rims aswell and they turned out a lot better then i excepted. Also in case your wondering, they do come off as easy as you see in all the videos!
you should consider leaving the center cap silver, that's what i did and it makes the wheel pop more.
Unfortunately i peeled mine and i plan on redipping it with gun metal gray once the weather gets warmer
