2011 kia optima sx LED door handles

hey guys well i started this thursday on the door handles on my sx and i was going to buy the k5 led handles but i figure i'll give it a shot and do some myself. ez2click gave me a photo for the k5 handles so i put the leds on the same location and the k5. here's some pictures of the progress and when i'm done i'll make a video on then lite up

tell me what you guys think??

Very ambitious undertaking! It would be great if you would do a step by step on your process in case others would like to do this mod. Just one question...how are you driving your car with no door handles?

I'm tempted to do something similar since you can get a full set of 4 OEM door handles with the chrome trim for $55 on eBay. My poor LX handles are 100% body color with no chrome.

Hey guys got the door handles done and on the car but then the sky started pouring down so I didn't connect then yet but sure does look like factory

any ways took some more pictures and on some of the pictures I will post u see me pointing to some of the air bags sensors that u DON'T want to touch or disconnect u also see how I routed the wire now for the front doors u have to disconnect the battery to do so because there's an air bag sensor on the door too once your don't routing the front doors connect the battery if try to disconnect the harness with the battery connected you might throw a code and the air bag light will come on. I'm in the car now so ill post then up later on tonight and by tomorrow everything should be done ill make a video for you guys too take care

That's pretty Eff'n sweet! Would you mind giving a link to the LEDs you used? If I remember they had a nice flange on the outside giving them a clean, finished look.
