But if it ain't tinted and have the black around the top of the Windshield like the one from the Factory.
I will not have it done.
I want Quality , not the cheapest.
Don't want the sun knocking my eyes out.
When my windshield cracked the dealer replaced it for free under warranty but that was a few years ago for my K5, I also replaced my 2014 SF windshield last year but I went with a local place to do so and it cost around $250 U.S. It also has that black tinted on the top just like factory and works just as good. I agreed with what you're saying about good quality but from what the guys replacing the windshield was telling me they're all mostly the same, you can buy decent ones for 1/3 of the price and I'm sure you can find the one that has tinted and save your money just in case you need to replace it again due to chips or crack windshield in the future. Yes there are things that we all should replace with OEM but there are things that we don't have to use OEM just for the fact that you don't really need it and why not save what you can and invested in mods lol. My replacement windshield has the tint strip and the black band/frit. I think it's the same as what they install at the factory, but minus the KIA logo. I have glass coverage which gets me 1 free replacement per year. Insurance paid the shop $500.

I like how it has all the black behind the Reese view mirror too.

I understand but I got an exact replacement including the black tinting at the top. I couldn't tell the difference from the OEM actually.

Mine was the same way, it's hard to tell it's not OEM.

@cardboard64: I don't think you'll have a problem if you go to a reputable glass repair shop. You might even be able to check out the glass before it's installed.

I got a small windshield out here in the country.
Been trying to get time to go by and see them.

Just realized the brand of the windshield is Fuyao. I took pictures of the manufacturer mark on the front and rear windshield. The front was replaced, while the rear is original. You can see the KIA logo on the rear.
